You are encouraged to attend the Schwan Center Marriage Retreat.
Couples, young and old, will enjoy a time of marital rejuvenation at our wonderful
hotel facilities nestled in among romantic pines. During your stay you will
grow closer through an enlightening biblical study of marriage that will challenge
you to strive for a union that remains alive and close "as long you both
shall live."

Accommodations and Meals: You will be enjoying the elegance of the Eagle Lodge Hotel (2 queen-size beds, private bath). All meals are prepared by our professional chef. Please note there is no meal Friday evening provided in the cost. Suggested Free-time Activities: There's never a shortage of things to do (outdoors and in) at the Schwan Center! From exploring the countryside to participating in athletic games to simply relaxing by the fire, you're sure to find something to match your interests and mood. Marriage and Family Therapist at Nystrom & Associates Counseling Clinic, leader of many marriage retreats, member of Salem Lutheran Church (WELS) in Stillwater (Minnesota), husband of Michele, and father of five children (and 20 foster children over the years).
- Pastor David Thompson
Chaplain and Program Director at the Schwan Center, former Professor and Dean of Students at Bethany Lutheran College  , former parish pastor, avid outdoorsman, biblical instructor on the family for the last 15 years.
